Things have changed a lot since the original TSTT petition was created. We have a mobile competitor who has compelled TSTT to offer better rates and services to its mobile customers to stay competitive in that market. Landline users are still suffering however. And the truth is, things are not all rosy on the bmobile front either. Final word: There are some things that could be improved on all fronts:

Dropped calls - there are too many of these happening...and this has gotten significantly worse since the new mobile company came into being.
So-called "mylime" rip-off - Don't get fooled into using this unless you are a regular chatter on the phone. Do you know how many words you have to use in order to use up 3 min of airtime before you get the next 27 min free?
"House" and other promotions - These all work fine (most of the time) if you use a regular top-up such as the ecard or if you top up at a TSTT office, but if you use Online top-up, you are certain to be robbed of your ""letters" and your "additional credit" that is promised for all customers for their first top-up of the month. This is wrong! A company like TSTT at the forefront of technology cannot be allowed to give its customers such excuses as: "the system does not recognise your phone," it's preposterous! Who do they have working for them? Highschool students? Hackers? Why is it that the online top-up cannot work the same way as the regular top-up using an ecard? And why is TSTT NOT informing its customers of this beforehand?
Customer service - When you call TSTT customer service, why do you get treated like a rip-off artist? TSTT CSRs needs to have more respect and courtesy.
Phone booths - Since the advent of mobile services, TSTT has been neglecting all its payphones. These should be regularly serviced as if there were no mobile service. In all developed countries, they still try to keep their payphones in working order. Why is it that we in T&T who are striving towards "developed" status, cannot keep our standard payphones in good working order?
Land line service - Why does it take as long as 6 months for landline customers to get connected? And why are landline rates still so exorbitant?
Bill payments - Why is it that customers cannot even verify their name on the account when going to pay a bill at any TSTT office?

About the TSTT Petition:

Why? Many customers of TSTT complain about: 1)Mysterious calls charged to their account
2) Unattended repair requests
TSTT needs to bring back the "service" in their name.
What? Signatures are being collected.
Who? Everyone who has had a problem with TSTT or anyone who thinks that TSTT could do better.
It's True... Experience has shown the impact will be greater if a huge amount of collected signatures are sent in all at once instead of hundreds of letters received in bits over time. The petition is hosted by both The Petition Site and PetitionOnline.com.
